What Information Do We Need?

We need your following contact details, your: name, address and phone number. We will also need information about your age and health in order for a treatment to go ahead.

 

Why Do We Need It, How Will We Use It and How Long Will We Retain It?

We collect your data in two different ways. The first is our booking system, Shedul and the second is for digital consultation system, Consult with Confidence.

Shedul booking system

We collect your name and phone number so we can keep in touch with you about your appointments and to allow the booking system to send out automatic appointment reminders to you. Our lawful basis for processing this personal information is ‘legitimate interests’.

Consult with Confidence booking system

We need all the details above in order to ensure that it is safe for us to provide the treatments you may ask for and also for insurance purposes. We will store your information for 7 years after the date of your treatment, or for 7 years after you have reached the age of 18 if you are/were under 18 when your treatment took place. Our lawful basis for processing this personal information is ‘consent’. You do not have to give consent to share your personal data with us, but if you do not we cannot offer you a treatment with Halo Salon and Boutique. You must fulfil your side of the contract (share your personal information) in order for us to fulfil ours (carry out treatment).

 

Marketing

We will NOT use the information you share with us to contact you directly regarding any of the products or services we offer.

 

Will We Share Your Information?

The booking software we use at Halo Salon and Boutique is called Shedul and they store all the information we hold of yours with secure cloud service providers. Shedul only store your data and they do not sell it on to any third parties. Shedul and the companies they are partnered with have met the necessary requirements to comply with the new EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

The consultation software we use at Halo Salon and Boutique is called Consult with Confidence and they store all the information we hold of yours with secure service providers. Consult with Confidence only store your data and they do not sell it on to any third parties. Consult with Confidence and the companies they are partnered with have met the necessary requirements to comply with the new EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). They are also registered with the Independent Commissioners Office under the Data Protection Regulations, Registration Number ZA303446.
